I'm a City Planner by day. I love my job and it pays the bills, but my job isn't my life. I have a million [expensive] hobbies and photography just happens to be one of them.
I got into photography at a young age. I remember my mom showing me how to use her Nikon SLR and I'd play with it on a regular basis. When I got into college, I took a class in photography, but my interest waned. Several years had passed and my friend showed me a photograph he took at night and I was fascinated. He couldn't give me exact details, but he told to just fiddle around....blahblahblah... after going through a bunch of cheapie point-and-shoot cameras, I decided to step up and be serious about my photography. While I'm nowhere near as good as I want to be, I have fun with my photography.
